Almost, Allsystems DVR has a built in HTML server. connected to a cable or DSL modem it can be viewed from any PC with IE6 on the web just by going to your IP address. ( Internet Explorer required - Fixed IP recommended )

Our remote software lets you monitor, record or view video files. You can use a LAN connection or Dial up. Allsystem DVR comes with a 56k Modem, Pro100 LAN port and USB. So its easy to connect the internet or your intranet.

The Web Cam server and Remote server are password protected.

A VCR is extremely low-resolution. Since the videotapes degrade and decompose within a short time, it causes the pictures to be grainy. With a DVR you don't need to change tapes so there is no degradation in recording quality. The image stays clear as long as you own the machine.

The System will recycle video storage space automatically by removing the oldest files. The amount of recycled space is user adjustable.

You can use just about any camera you want that has Pal or NTSC output. Cameras come in all shapes and sizes. Ones that are meant to be seen and one that are not. The better the camera resolution the better the picture quality.
